Abstract

Algorithms for parallelizing computations are considered, which are used in the Raduga-5.2 (P) program when solving the transport equation of neutral particles in 1D-, 2D- and 3D-domains by the method of discrete ordinates on multiprocessor systems with distributed memory. The results of testing the effectiveness of algorithms in time and memory are presented on the example of a real problem of radiation protection. This work was financially supported by Program No. 3 for Basic Research of the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
